Job Description
Job:
Kitchen staff in one of the most famous restaurants in Dubrovnik, Croatia (hot kitchen, cold kitchen, dishwashing, food preparation and support functions). Exact position and duties are assigned by the employer based on experience and internal needs.
Salary:
Approx. €900–€1,300 net per month, depending on position, professional background and performance.
Accommodation:
- Provided by the employer;
- Maximum 2 persons per room;
- Conditions in line with Croatian legal and hygiene standards.
Meals: - 1 meal per working shift, prepared by the restaurant’s kitchen.
Working period: - April 2026 – November 2026 (tourist season);
- Full-time employment according to Croatian labour law;
- Schedule and weekly working hours depend on the employer and restaurant workload (typically 6 days per week, high season intensity).
Target audience (nationalities): - Philippines
- Argentina
- Additionally: up to 10 candidates from Sri Lanka (limited quota, subject to employer approval).
Age range:
Adult candidates of working age, with sufficient physical ability for intensive restaurant work. Final approval is at the employer’s discretion.
TOTAL COST & PAYMENT TERMS
Total program cost (documents + visa support): €1,700 per candidate. Payment structure: - Advance Payment – €550 Paid only after the employer gives pre-approval for the candidate. This payment triggers the launch of the full documentation process (work permit, supporting papers).
- Second Payment (Visa Stage) – €550 Paid when the complete document package is ready and the candidate is moving to the visa submission stage at the consulate.
- Final Payment – €600 Paid upon successful issuance of documents required for the final clearance and visa processing completion (or before document dispatch, depending on the country’s procedure).
The package includes preparation of work-related documents, coordination with the employer and visa support in line with the agreed cooperation terms. Exact breakdown of included services (e.g. consular fees, insurance, translation) can be specified in a separate agreement.
DOCUMENTS REQUIRED FROM THE CANDIDATE
To start the process (pre-selection):
- Nationality (Philippines / Argentina / Sri Lanka – within quota);
- Sex (male / female);
- Age;
- Short summary of experience in kitchen / hospitality (if any).
For full processing after approval:
- CV (Curriculum Vitae) in English;
- Scan of the passport main page (good quality, not cropped);
- Contact phone number and e-mail;
- Any additional forms / questionnaires provided by the manager.
DOCUMENT PACKAGE FROM THE EMPLOYER
The candidate receives a set of documents required for legal work and visa application, which typically includes: - Employment contract with the Croatian restaurant;
- Confirmation of accommodation;
- Employer’s confirmations required for work / residence permit procedure;
- Other documents required by Croatian authorities and consulate for seasonal employment.
PROCESS
Stage 1 – Pre-selection & Employer Pre-Approval - Partner sends basic candidate information (nationality, gender, age, brief experience).
- Employer reviews profiles; suitable candidates receive pre-approval.
Stage 2 – Advance Payment & Work Permit Documentation - After employer pre-approval, the Advance Payment of €550 is made.
- Collection of CVs, passport scans, and required forms.
- Launch of the full documentation process: work permit preparation and supporting papers with the employer and local partners.
Stage 3 – Visa Stage & Second Payment - When the complete document package is ready and the candidate is moving to the consular submission stage, the Second Payment of €550 is made.
- Candidate receives the full set of documents and clear instructions for visa submission.
Stage 4 – Finalization & Final Payment - Upon successful completion/issuance of documents required for final clearance (or before document dispatch, depending on the country’s procedure), the Final Payment of €600 is made.
- Originals are dispatched / final instructions are provided (based on the applicable procedure).
Stage 5 – Arrival & Start of Work (Croatia) - After visa issuance, the candidate travels to Dubrovnik, signs original documents on site (if required), and starts work according to the contract conditions.
